Tocotrienols can be found in vegetable oils such as palm and rice bran oil. They consist of four forms: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta - together with tocopherols, they are members of the vitamin E family. Tocotrienols are unsaturated forms of vitamin E with an isoprenoid side chain1. Tocotrienols are often studied for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cardioprotective properties 2,3,4.
